About Me

My name is Kayla Dawnn House – I’m from the South and we like double names. You may also call me Kayla, KD, KDH or what Siri calls me, Pocahontas.  

I am from the growing city of West Memphis, AR (yes, Arkansas – WOO! Pig Sooie!).  I am 26 years old and I love being outside whether that is playing sports, hammocking, reading a book or doing anything that can hold my attention for longer than 5 minutes.

I went on the World Race in August 2011 – original Y Squad and have been a part of Adventures ever since! I believe we can reach the nations with a passion and a love for the hurting and the lost that can only be explained by the Fathers passion and love for us.

I love worship and prayer and I believe the Lord is calling my generation back to Him through it. We have this desire to meet the Lord in raw and authentic ways and experience Him like we’ve never seen before.  I want to see Him do more and more extraordinary things. 

At Adventures in Missions, I am a World Race Mobilizer. The World race is an 11-month missions trip to 11 different countries. In each country, we focus on partnering with organizations, ministries and churches that are already in existence and serving them with whatever they need. That can look anything like teaching English, door-to-door visits, preaching, construction, gardening, working at orphanages, kids ministries, anti-human trafficking, summer camps, University ministry, and teaching music. 

In my role as a World Race Mobilizer, I get to work directly with our participants that are getting ready to go out on the field. I get to pray with them, encourage them and help make sure they have everything they need to leave on the field. I LOVE being able to pour into a group of people and watch them change the world and I LOVE seeing the Lord change them.  

It is an honour that the Lord has called me to Gainesville, GA to invest in an amazing group of people who are leaving their fingerprints all over the earth!!!
